Mostly About Ferns

7:43 am Completed Albums

Mastered editions. This is the album formerly known as “Seedy”, now officially called “Mostly About Ferns”. CD replication will begin shortly, and I should have the finished discs in about two weeks. Pretty exciting stuff! The pic below is of artwork by KT Williams, aka the wonder monkey, who’s handling the lettering and design for the album (and also came up with the new name, incidentally). Collaboration is a lot of fun, and it’s always fascinating to see other people create with or to my music. It is endlessly interesting for me to watch how much deeper and more significant things become when shared.

Sorry for the problem with Sprout - it wasn’t playing all the way to the end of the song. I can’t yet figure out what’s going on with it, so I’ve placed the unmastered version in the player as a placeholder of sorts.

Meanwhile, the Sprout.mp3 itself is in fine working order, so feel free to download to your heart’s content.

I’ll try to fix this soon and post a follow-up message when it’s done.

OK, finally fixed. Had to rerip the mp3, that’s all. No idea why the audio player wasn’t liking the old one, but so far this one seems to be working. Let me hear from you if it stops, though…

Wow. That mastering thing really made this album sound INCREDIBLE. Great job! It freaking rocks. Now if only someone would create the darn fractal zoom accompaniments…

This may seem like a weird comment, but your fern album would make perfect driving music. Either that, or the perfect soundtrack for a film set in the summertime backwoods. Keep rockin’ on, Cuz. I look forward to hearing what you come up with next!
