Here are videos for the two most recent fractal videos I’ve done music for. In the near future, we’ll get longer and more complex videos too, but for now I think these are pretty great. Enjoy!

Well, the other piece I finished earlier today ain’t so bad, but sadly it’s not the right thing to introduce the show. Funny thing is I knew it, too. Still I tried to get away with it, but no luck. Either it’s right or it’s not.
The problem is that the piece was divided – thematically – into 3 parts, and the climax happened in the second part. Not so good when you want the climax at the end, so as to start the show with a bang.
In cases like these I think it’s often better just to start from scratch, so I asked that the earlier piece be used for something else in the show, and got to work on a new intro. Which is above, and I think is a better piece. Note the climax comes at the very end, as it should.

New fractal show intro piece. Instructions were for a short piece – 2 minutes long – with the first 45 seconds being atmospheric and morphy, and the remaining time some sort of inspirational “welcome to the show” kind of thing.
This is one of three fractal pieces that I’ve been asked to do. I’m getting started on the other two tonight, and looking forward to seeing the new, improved show!

It’s a minute long, in a cheesy 70’s – 80’s musical style, and it’s for a celebrity dating video game, but it’s still my soundtrack and I’m still really happy with it.

I’m certainly not lacking in things to do, what with all the projects and the new baby to look after and all that, but when my good friend at AddictingGames asked me today to do a rush job, I of course accepted immediately.
“It’s for a celebrity dating quiz game,” he said, “so I want something kind of cheesy and 70’s or 80’s style, but catchy, and about a minute long. And it’s launching Friday, so we need it by Thursday at the latest.”
I sent this to him just now. We’ll see if it’s approved or not. Have a listen:
